What cartridges have no recycling value?
One thing you can count on for certain is that your supporters, despite their good intentions, will send you cartridges that have no value. They want to contribute, but quite often they do not remember which cartridges are recyclable and which ones are not, so they send them in anyway. You will need to sort through your cartridges and remove the no value cartridges before you ship them off to Eco Rez Inc. The biggest challenge to recycling is keeping the cost of shipping down and under control. Shipping cartridges that have no value eventually hurt everyone involved. "No Value" cartridges come in two types:
Type one: non-electronic inkjet cartridges
Type two: Compatible, non-virgin laser jets, inkjets and fax cartridges
ACCU-SHRED
As an extended feature to our recycling program, we offer the disposal non value cartridges or equipment to keep them off of our landfill sites. In this case, Eco Rez Inc. acts as a middle man between our clients and Accu-Shred Limited. Eco Rez Inc. will subtract .50 cents per item picked up which is not on our list. This deduction will go towards the processing fee for the secured destruction of the product.
Eco Rez Inc. would like to encourage our clients to be proactive and help us send non recyclable products to Accu-Shred Limited. If you are not interested in disposing of any no value non recyclable products please do not include them with your pick up.
